Around the world

I have picked Scotland to research about, this is the Scottish flag, it is blue with a white x in the middle.

catapult

I made a catapult using a toilet roll and a broken end of a balloon. So i cut the end of a balloon and cellotaped it to the toilet roll, then i grabbed cotton wool put it in the toilet roll and pulled the balloon, it flew up to the roof. Then i shot it across the room, it went flying about 7 metres! Then i tried it with confetti and it made a home made party popper, poof confetti went everywhere! I tried it with all sorts of objects we have around the house like a plastic spoon, a rubber, lego pieces, bits of cellotape, a rolled up tissue, and a pencil, but the cotton wool flew the best.

Pizza's

I made pizza's for lunch with my Dad. We made them on toasted bread, they had spaghetti, ham, cheese, and mum and dads 1's had onion on them too, They were delicious!

Tin Foil Boat

I made 2 different kinds of boats out of tin foil, 1 was a square and the other was a boat shape, the square boat held more marbles and stayed a float in the water for longer than the boat shaped 1.

Rocket

I made a rocket using paper, straw and tape, the rocket sits on top of the straw, then you count down 3.2.1 and blow, the rocket goes flying up in the air, zooms along a little bit then crash lands down to the ground!

I made a flower using different marbles

I also made a butterfly with the marbes aswell

I made a fish using leaves from the lemon tree, rose petals for the gills and some kind of yellow bulb/berry for the fish eye.

I also made a dragon fly using lavender flowers for the body ferns for the wings sticks for the antenas and a yello daisy for the head
